| 2010 APA of ND Football Tickets Auction
We
are announcing the launching of our 7th Annual APA Online Auction of
Notre Dame Football Tickets Fundraiser. Once again, the auction will run
on eBay, serviced by the Notre Dame Alumni Association. Unlike the many
other sellers on eBay, the Notre Dame Alumni Association
(http://stores.ebay.com/Notre-Dame-Alumni-Association) is the only eBay
seller authorized by the University of Notre Dame.
All proceeds in support of the APA of ND will benefit our "Kenneth Ho Sung Kwak Scholarship for Asian Studies" in honor of Ken Kwak '62 who epitomized the Notre Dame spirit, was a champion of diversity, and was so passionate about the development of the Asian Studies program at Notre Dame. Items up for auction include season tickets (a pair of tickets to all seven home ND games) and many two-ticket packages for individual home games. Tickets for this season have been posted today on eBay at http://stores.ebay.com/Notre-Dame-Alumni-Association with a limited time frame for each item (~10 days), so bookmark the site today and come back to it periodically! We hope you can assist us with our fundraising effort by forwarding this information to your extended Notre Dame family and friends. This is a great opportunity to obtain tickets for a highly anticipated season with the new coach Brian Kelly and support a worthy cause! The deadline for the 2010 Notre Dame Football Ticket Lottery is Dec. 31st. If you already donated to the Notre Dame Annual Fund for the Football Ticket Lottery, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your continued support of our current students. If you haven't donated yet but plan to, please consider submitting your donation to be directed towards the APA of ND Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will benefit current students of Asian Pacific decent that achieve an outstanding academic record and need financial assistance.
1) If you do plan on donating to ND to be eligible for the Football Ticket Lottery: Please write a note on your donation "for APA Scholarship Fund." This will earmark your donation for the APA of ND Scholarships. Your donation is still counted towards the Football Ticket Lottery eligibility. Please donate your allocated football tickets to our APA Scholarship fundraiser. Every year we auction off donated football tickets to raise money for the APA Scholarships that help students in need and with outstanding accomplishments. We will take season tickets or tickets for individual home games. We will reimburse you for the face value of the tickets.
3) If you know of family or friends that are planning to donate to Notre Dame: Please pass this information along to them or let them know that they can earmark their donations to any specific scholarship fund (e.g. the APA Scholarship Fund).
